The Permissions page allows you to create users with custom permissions
to access Activation Manager.
To add a user/permission, use the Insert New Permission button.
You can then edit the newly added user/permission to set restrictions to the
pages in Activation Manager.
The fields in the Permissions table can be grouped into the following
categories.
The following fields allow you to create username and password for
login to Activation Manager.
Specify a username.
Specify a password, which is stored in plain text.
Specify a password, which is stored using SHA 512-bit hash encoding.
When the SHA512Password field is specified, the Password field is not
applicable.
You can set restrictions to the pages in Activation Manager as follows.

Disabled. The page is not available.

All. The page is available for all functions.
·
ReadyOnly. The page is available for
read only.
Set restrictions to the Control page.
Set restrictions to the Products page.
Set restrictions to the Upgrades page.
Set restrictions to the Accounts page.
Set restrictions to the History page.
